NHS Hair Epilation Referrals
Results
WILD is an NHS-commissioned provider of hair epilation services and accepts referrals for eligible patients in line with local NHS commissioning criteria.
NHS-funded treatment is provided following formal referral and approval.
Treatment is delivered in a private clinic setting, with the same focus on dignity, consistency, and individual care throughout your course.
Private laser hair removal appointments remain available for self-funding clients. Referrer information is available on request.

Treatment plans are tailored to the individual, recognising that hair growth and response can vary.
All treatments are carried out using medical-grade laser technology, suitable for a wide range of skin types.

It isn’t luck. And it certainly isn’t because you’re “doing it wrong.”
Here’s what really makes the difference. 👇
Every client responds differently to laser hair removal because no two bodies are the same.
✨ Hormones – Conditions such as PCOS, perimenopause or hormonal changes can encourage new hair growth, meaning you may need more sessions and occasional maintenance.
✨ Hair colour – Dark, coarse hair usually responds fastest because the laser targets pigment. Blonde, red, grey and white hairs can be much more challenging, or may not respond to laser at all.
✨ Consistency – Sticking to your recommended treatment schedule is one of the biggest factors in achieving the best possible results. Missing appointments can slow your progress.
✨ Sun exposure – Tanned skin often means we need to adjust settings or delay treatment to keep your skin safe, which can extend your treatment journey.
✨ Previous waxing or plucking – Laser needs a healthy hair root to work effectively. Regular waxing can interrupt the hair growth cycle, so we recommend shaving between appointments instead.
✨ Genetics – Some people naturally have more active hair follicles or denser hair growth. That doesn’t mean laser won’t work—it simply means your treatment plan may look different.
✨ The quality of the device – Not all lasers are created equal. Medical-grade systems, combined with an experienced practitioner who knows how to tailor your settings safely, can make a significant difference to your results.
