That’s where maintenance comes in.
Once you’ve completed your initial course at WILD, we’ll review your results together and decide whether you’re ready to move onto maintenance.
For some, that might mean an occasional top-up. For others, particularly those managing hormonal hair growth, a little more regular maintenance may be beneficial.
There’s no blanket schedule. We work around YOUR regrowth, not the calendar.

Dark skin isn’t the problem. Treating it incorrectly is.
There is still far too much fear and misinformation around melanin and laser hair removal.
Darker skin tones can be treated safely and effectively when the practitioner has suitable technology, appropriate training and a thorough understanding of how melanin responds to laser energy.
Naturally darker skin and recently tanned skin are not the same thing.
A recent tan means more melanin sits close to the surface after UV exposure. This can increase the risk of burns and pigment changes, which is why treatment may need to be postponed until skin returns to its baseline.
At WILD.CLINIC I use the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus, which combines two wavelengths:
• Alexandrite 755 nm
• Nd:YAG 1064 nm
This lets me select the appropriate wavelength and personalise settings, but every appointment still starts with an individual assessment. Technology matters, practitioner knowledge and careful decisions matter just as much.
