NHS Hair Epilation Referrals
Results
WILD is an NHS-commissioned provider of hair epilation services and accepts referrals for eligible patients in line with local NHS commissioning criteria.
NHS-funded treatment is provided following formal referral and approval.
Treatment is delivered in a private clinic setting, with the same focus on dignity, consistency, and individual care throughout your course.
Private laser hair removal appointments remain available for self-funding clients. Referrer information is available on request.
What to expect
Treatment plans are tailored to the individual, recognising that hair growth and response can vary.
All treatments are carried out using medical-grade laser technology, suitable for a wide range of skin types.

NHS-funded treatment is available by referral only and must be approved prior to starting.

Very little of what we talk about is actually laser hair removal.

A woman recently told me:
“I want permanent hair removal.”
On the surface, that sounds straightforward.
But one of the most important parts of any consultation is understanding what someone means when they use the word permanent.
Because permanent doesn’t always mean the same thing to everyone.
For one person, it means never seeing another dark hair again.
For someone else, it means no longer checking the mirror every morning.
For another, it means being able to leave the house without thinking about their facial hair.
This particular consultation involved a combination of black, grey and white facial hair.
The challenge wasn’t identifying the hair.
It was understanding which hair was likely to respond to laser, which wouldn’t, and what outcome would genuinely make the biggest difference to her day-to-day life.
The best consultations aren’t usually about selling treatments.
They’re about understanding expectations.
Because when expectations and treatment plans align, clients make better decisions and get better outcomes.
That’s why my first question often isn’t about the hair.
It’s about the person sitting in front of me.
