NHS Hair Epilation Referrals
Results
WILD is an NHS-commissioned provider of hair epilation services and accepts referrals for eligible patients in line with local NHS commissioning criteria.
NHS-funded treatment is provided following formal referral and approval.
Treatment is delivered in a private clinic setting, with the same focus on dignity, consistency, and individual care throughout your course.
Private laser hair removal appointments remain available for self-funding clients. Referrer information is available on request.
What to expect
Treatment plans are tailored to the individual, recognising that hair growth and response can vary.
All treatments are carried out using medical-grade laser technology, suitable for a wide range of skin types.

NHS-funded treatment is available by referral only and must be approved prior to starting.

A woman recently told me:
“I don’t understand. I already had laser.”
It’s a sentence I hear more often than people realise.
Especially from women in their 40s and 50s.
The assumption is usually that the previous treatment failed.
Sometimes that’s true.
Often it isn’t.
One of the most important parts of a consultation isn’t assessing the hair.
It’s understanding the timeline.
When did it start?
What changed?
What else was happening?
Because the answer isn’t always found in the treatment history.
Sometimes it’s found in the years between.
Perimenopause.
Hormonal changes.
Medication changes.
Health conditions that weren’t present when the original treatment was completed.
Hair growth is often the symptom people notice.
Not always the cause.
This is the first in a new series of consultation case discussions where I’ll share the questions I ask and the thought process behind creating treatment plans for more complex hair growth concerns.
Because before we discuss treatment, I want to understand the story.
And the story is rarely just about the hair.

People do.
How much overlap?
Where do we need to be careful?
Is this hormonal?
Is this maintenance?
Are we chasing clearance or reduction?
The machine delivers the treatment.
The practitioner creates the plan.
And in laser hair removal, the plan usually matters more than people realise.

“How many sessions will I need?”
Honestly?
I don’t know.
Yet.
Because I haven’t met your hair.
Most clients need somewhere between 6 and 10 sessions.
But the consultation tells me far more than the treatment area ever will.
Hormones.
Hair density.
Hair colour.
Previous treatments.
All matter.
Which is why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans.
